BLOODHUNTER is an extreme metal band formed in Galicia, Spain, in 2008 by guitarist and main songwriter DANI ARCOS. Over the years the band has developed a powerful blend of aggressive extreme metal and melodic guitar work, gradually building a reputation within the European metal scene.

After several lineup changes in its early years, the band reached a turning point with the arrival of vocalist DIVA SATANICA in 2012. Their first release, the demo The First Insurrection (2013), received positive feedback from specialized media and helped introduce BLOODHUNTER to the international underground metal audience.

The band released their self-titled debut album in 2014, produced by DANIEL CARDOSO and PEDRO MENDES at ULTRASOUND STUDIOS. The record was distributed internationally in countries such as Japan, the United States, Mexico and across Europe, helping the band expand its audience beyond Spain.

Around this period vocalist DIVA SATANICA gained wider public exposure after appearing on the TV show The Voice Spain. In 2015 guitarist DANI ARCOS participated in the international 100 Guitars From Hel event in Finland, performing alongside ALEXI LAIHO and other notable guitarists from the metal scene.

The band continued developing its sound with the release of their second album The End of Faith (2017), produced by ÁLEX CAPPA at THE METAL FACTORY STUDIOS. The album strengthened BLOODHUNTER’s presence in the Spanish metal circuit and led to appearances at major festivals including RESURRECTION FEST and LEYENDAS DEL ROCK among others, sharing stages with bands such as MEGADETH, RAINBOW and AT THE GATES.

Their third album, Knowledge Was the Price (2022), marked another step forward for the band and featured collaborations with TIM “RIPPER” OWENS (ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ex-ICED EARTH) and ROSALÍA SAIREM of THERION.

In recent years BLOODHUNTER has continued expanding its international presence through tours and festival appearances. In 2025 the band performed at the renowned Graspop Metal Meeting, one of Europe’s most important metal festivals.

That same year BLOODHUNTER entered a new stage in its career by signing with the international management agency FM MUSIC MANAGEMENT and the record label ROAR (A REIGNING PHOENIX MUSIC DIVISION).

This new chapter began with the release of the singles THE DEVIL’S OWN (January 2026) and THE OUTSPOKEN (March 2026), the first previews of the band’s upcoming studio album and a new phase in BLOODHUNTER’s evolution.
